Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how NexUtility (referred to as "NexUtility", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website or use any mobile application we publish on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (collectively, the "Services").
We have written this policy in plain language and have included specific sections required by Apple App Tracking Transparency, Google Data Safety, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the KVKK.
1. Scope
This policy covers nexutility.dev and any mobile or
cross-platform application linking to it as their privacy policy URL.
Individual apps may publish a per-app supplement under
/apps/[slug] if they collect additional data; in that
case, the supplement applies in addition to this policy.
2. Data controller
The data controller for the Services is NexUtility,
[Legal entity name], [Registered address].
Inquiries can be sent to
privacy@nexutility.dev.
3. Data we collect
We aim to collect the minimum data needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services. The categories below are potential categories — any given app collects only the subset listed in its App Store / Play Store privacy nutrition label and per-app supplement.
3.1 Provided directly
- Account & contact data — only if you contact support or explicitly create an account: name, email, message contents.
- App content — anything you save inside an app (notes, preferences, files). Stored on your device unless the app explicitly offers a sync feature.
3.2 Collected automatically
- Device & technical data — operating system version, device model, app version, language, crash reports, anonymized diagnostics.
- Usage data — events such as feature opens or paywall views, used to understand which features are valuable. Stored pseudonymously and not linked to your real identity unless you sign in.
- Identifiers — an app-instance identifier, and (with your permission on iOS) the IDFA. On Android we may use the Advertising ID where required for ad delivery, subject to your opt-out.
- Approximate IP-based location — to localize content, currency, and to apply regional legal requirements. We do not collect GPS location unless an app explicitly asks you and you grant permission.
4. How we use data
- To deliver and maintain the Services you request.
- To process subscription purchases and entitlement checks.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To debug crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- To measure aggregate product usage and inform feature decisions.
- To serve advertising in apps where ads are part of the product.
- To comply with our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
5. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third-party processors. Each one has its own privacy policy, linked below.
5.1 Hosting & delivery
- Cloudflare — website hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Policy.
5.2 Subscription management
- RevenueCat — verifies App Store / Play Store receipts, manages subscription entitlements, and provides anonymized purchase analytics. RevenueCat receives the App Store / Play Store anonymous identifier and a pseudonymous app-instance ID. Policy.
5.3 Advertising
- Google AdMob — serves ads in apps that include advertising. AdMob may use device identifiers (IDFA / Advertising ID), coarse location, and ad-interaction signals as described in the AdMob Help Center and Google's Privacy Policy. Personalized ads are only shown after we obtain consent where required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency or the IAB EU Transparency & Consent Framework.
5.4 App stores
- Apple processes purchases, Family Sharing, and refund requests under Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google processes purchases and identity for Play services under Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Advertising & App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, we comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. Before any tracking that links your device to data collected by other companies' apps or websites for advertising, we will request your explicit permission. If you decline, you will still see ads in supported apps, but they will be non-personalized.
On Android, you can reset or opt out of personalized advertising at any time from the system settings ("Privacy" → "Ads" → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization").
7. Subscriptions, restore & refunds
Some of our apps offer optional subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through Apple or Google according to the price and period shown at purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Refunds are processed by Apple or Google according to their refund policies. We can help you locate the right form on /support.
8. Retention
We keep diagnostic data and usage logs for up to 12 months. Subscription receipts are retained for as long as your subscription is active and for an additional period required by tax and accounting law, typically up to 10 years. Support tickets are kept for up to 24 months after the last reply.
9. International transfers
Some of our processors are located outside your country (for example in the United States or the European Union). When personal data is transferred outside your country of residence, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the relevant data protection authority.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights under GDPR, KVKK, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar laws. These typically include:
- The right to access a copy of your personal data.
- The right to rectify inaccurate data.
- The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- The right to restrict or object to processing.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time.
- The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@nexutility.dev. We will respond within 30 days.
11. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced inside the affected app or via email to known contacts.
